Midwest Container is using lessons learned to improve concepts, proficiently and quality on our process lines. New machines, leak testers, sleevers, computerized programs, etc.. have been added to Midwest Container production lines for efficiency.
At Midwest Container quality will become more than a program, but a system that encompasses every facet of our business. Midwest Container quality is every employee's responsibility. There is no finish line.
Midwest Container is structuring our system to follow the concepts presented by "The eight quality management principles" (customer focused organization, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, system approach to management, continual improvement, factorial approach to decision making, mutually beneficial supplier relationships), that provide the philosophical framework for a effective quality system.
Midwest Container has adopted these basic principles and use them to guide our improvement efforts. We sought to employ the un burying promise of those principles in our "QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT".
QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT
Quality is defined as conformance to requirements. Quality is achieved through prevention, not detection. Performance standard for quality is attitude. Measurement of quality is the cost of quality. No employee or department is exempt from this policy.
As a customer, we sincerely hope that you will see in Midwest Container, through this letter, a unique commitment to quality that provides the foundation for a lasting and mutually beneficial relationship.
