General Policies
Midwest's minimum order is $500.00 per shipping address. You may mix items in order to fulfill the this minimum however.
Ordering Terms
Net 30 days, pending credit approval and good standing.
Midwest requires a written purchase order with date required.
New Accounts
For new accounts, the first order if less than $5000.00 must be paid for in advance. New accounts may also pay with a company check, but Midwest will place a hold on the order till the check clears.
Custom Orders
We cannot enter orders for special colors or materials until Midwest has receipt of payment for the order.
Set Up Charge
A $250.00 or $500.00 Set Up Charge will be charged to prepare and run samples from any mold depending on machinery needed.

Midwest Price List specifies only standard colors. Contact your Sales Representative for special colors.
Purge Charge for Colors or Additives
Custom colors or special resins will require a purge charge. This will vary from machine to machine and order quantity. Please contact your Midwest Sales Representatives for more information.
Cancellations
Custom colors and containers cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
Returns
Customers returning product must have an RGA number from a Midwest Container Sales Representative. If the return is for reasons other than a quality concern, the customer is responsible for the freight. Midwest charges a 5% restocking fee if product is returned in sellable condition. If the product needs to be repackaged there will be a 20% charge.
Shipping Quantities
Midwest reserves the right ship up to 10% over the ordered quantity. Any product manufactured for a specific customer with a designated release date, including custom colors and stock items, must be shipped and invoiced the same month as the release date. If for any reason the product cannot be shipped due to no fault of Midwest, Midwest will invoice for the unreleased products, prior to the end of that month.
Certificates of Compliance
Requests for Certificates of Compliance and other documentation or alteration of product specifications must be made in writing at the time of order.
Sample Requests
Please contact your Sales Representative to request samples. Samples will usually be shipped within 2 working days by UPS ground. If next day service is requested please provide your UPS account number, Midwest does not use Fedex.
Product Warranty
Midwest assures its products will conform to all Midwest specifications. No warranty is expressed or implied.
No guarantee, warranty or recommendation for any particular end use is intended or implied. No representative and/or employee of Midwest Container has the authority to make any contrary statements or agreements written or otherwise.
Compatibility
Midwest Container specifically cautions the Purchaser/customer that not all products are compatible with plastic bottles, closures and/or containers for the packaging of harmful products and/or any other substance that will be likely to cause injury to person or property.
FOB
All items that are manufactured by Midwest Container are FOB Barnhart, MO. Midwest does not route freight for customer orders unless specified in writing on P.O. and authorized by a Midwest Sales Representative.

All items are shipped on skids unless specified in writing on P.O. and authorized by a Midwest Sales Representative.
Standard Pallet 48" X 48"
Standard bottle cartons are 24" X 15" X 23.25"
Oversize bottle cartons are 24" X 19.75" X 22.375
28 skids will fit on a 48 ft. trailer
30 skids will fit on a 53 ft. trailer
Standard bottle carton shipped UPS is rated at 50lbs
Pallet Charges
A charge of $7.50 will be assessed for each shipped pallet unless specified in writing by a Midwest Sales Representatives.
Dock Appointments
Due to limited dock space, all carriers are required to call 2 days in advance to establish a dock appointment. Our normal shipping hours are: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm central standard time.
